The spending habits of the stand up paddling consumer have changed immensely just in the short lifespan of our quickly growing sport. And at Tahoe SUP, we understand that more and more people want to shop online to compare a wider selection of products. This requires brands to adapt to remain competitive and have a presence to the would be internet SUP consumer.
With more brands deciding to only sell direct online and compete directly with the shops, it’s time to think creatively to support our invaluable dealers. We believe there is no substitute for the service, advice and passion for paddling found in the shops of our local dealers and we have come up with a program to strengthen that partnership.
STAND UP FOR YOUR DEALER program gives a percent of every online sale back to the qualified dealer of the consumer’s choice. Through our online sales portal, SUPoutdoor.com, the consumer will select the dealer when checking out. Eligible dealers will have a Pre Season order in place and a set minimum sales history.
The vast majority volume of our sales will always be through our dealers as the touch, feel and visuals of our boards in the shops is the best selling tool. But the STAND UP FOR YOUR DEALER program hopes to display our support for the dealers who have not only invested into the Tahoe SUP brand but are looking to continue to grow the sport.
