Fly Fishing on Feather River - Reed McClure

SUP Fly Fishing the North Fork of the Feather River.

The North Fork of the Feather River travels 77 miles fro Quincy, CA to Oroville, CA through the Feather River Canyon which is an excellent fly fishing destination. Thee is easy access to much of the river through trails, the railroad track, but some of the best fishing spots are a little difficult to access, so an inflatable paddle board is a great asset.

The North Fork of the Feather River is home to some very large trout, and a paddle board and a little bit of balance can get you to places other fisherman skip. If you are looking for a fun paddle board fly fishing location I highly recommend the Feather River Canyon in Northern California.
